Got Your Buddy Model

Post by Phil P »

How many of you have got the "Buddy" model to match your scooter?
Just got mine today from E-Bay for 8.00 It is made of die-cast metal.
Wheels are rubber and turn. Steering turns. It will even stand on it's
own center stand. Hard to tell from the orginial. It is about 5-6 inches
long and about 3 inches high. Here's my real one and the model.

The only thing that really gives it away is the "shiny" seat on the model and the transmission case 'kickstand'. Other than that, it looks spot on!
"Earth" without Art is just "Eh"...

Okay, i confess. We have a red 125 Buddy and a nice diecast model of a red 125 Buddy. (heck, we've also got a silver LX150 vespa and a silver model of an LX150  - can't find a model of a silver MP3 though)

I have die-cast versions of many vehicles I've owned, but I don't think they made these (also available at http://scooterworks.com) in a pink '06 version.

They were actually giving these away at Amerivespa, but I didn't know what color to get! :)

Yup I got an Italia for me & a red one for my pops, thanks Genuine for the freebies! :D
I actually collect model scooters/mopeds/vintage motorcycles as well as action figures...
They are all different sizes, but I still want to build a diorama of a crazy battle between
superheroes & villains on scooters! One day it will happen. one day.
