Tube hanging down near kick stand???

Can anyone tell me if the small black tube hanging down from the bottom of the scooter is normal? Some sort of fuel or storage overflow drain tube maybe??? I just noticed it and it seems odd. I have not yet tried to find the attach point to see for sure.

That sounds like a battery drain pipe.

Could well be the air intake tube. If you follow it upwards it may well lead into the air intake area. Check it out.
