Rebuilt / modded 1958 Vespa VBA1T (http://stlouis.craigslist.org/mcd/2814586183.html)

And she says [and I think]:

"Hey, that looks nice." [Yes, love, it does]
"You should get that." [Eh? Seriously?]
"Yeah, get rid of that Buddy and get the Vespa." [... not so much.]
Feel da rhythm! Feel da rhyme! Get on up! It's Buddy Time!

Dont know much about them but it looks nice. I doubt it would be as reliable as the Buddy. Why do you have to choose?!? :?

It's gorgeous, but like a supermodel, it is probably high maintenance

Except for the "get rid of the Buddy" part, she had a great idea!

Man! I wish my wife would say something like that to me. I would give a few days without even bringing it back up then I would hit her with:

"You know, I've been thinking about that scooter you said I should get. You may have had a pretty good idea there. I've heard those older scooters are pretty temperamental and take some tinkering. I don't spend money on hunting gear, fishing boats or gambling and that might be a really fun hobby that would end up giving us a beautiful scooter to ride around on and even take to rallies! We would probably need to keep the Buddy for daily use which would continue saving us money with the 80 miles-per-gallon. You are a genius and I love you!"
.::I know the voices in my head aren't real, but man do they come up with some great ideas::.

It was still there this afternoon, so it's obviously waiting for the right time to go home with you!

Or should I say "she" is waiting to go home with you?

That's a NICE PRICE. That could go for $1K more out here!

Of course, a friend recently bought a '57 VB1 for under $800. Not in this shape, though, and it's Pepto-Bismol pink (for now).

The VB1s are pretty but slowwwwwww, even for 150s. Great bikes all around, though!

And this one is nice-lookin'!
