Ladies and gentlemen....introducing Sting!

Post by Jana »

Several reasons for the name choice, in no particular order:

1. Uni mascot (Graceland University Yellowjackets)
2. Sting fan!
3. Bee color (for Longaberger Basket Bee, which is our convention we have every year)
4. It sounds dangerous!
5. Just because. ;)

If I'd gone to Univ of Iowa, he might have been named Herky...but that just sounds weird. My son is there, so I might have to put a little Hawkeye cling on the windscreen anyway.

Guess I'll try to get "Sting" for a personalized plate when I get my tags next month, if it's available. If not, well then, I'll have to hunt the guy/gal down that has it and offer money for his/plate. LOL

Apologies if this pic is too large-I couldn't get a smaller one to look decent! BTW, kudos to Maplewood Scooter Company!

Geniune calls the color "orange". My friends call it dreamsicle.

Thanks, gang! Yeah, thanks to **name your fave weather personality** it's going to be 12F this weekend. It sounds like this weekend might at least be sorta sunny.....I'm not looking forward to riding in the snow/rain/ice/mixed/sleet.....not yet, anyway!

I think it's officially "tangerine," but I'm just calling it "71 Dodge Colt yellow/orange" because it's the same color as my first car. 8) The DH swears he's gonna get a "YELLOW" decal for the back, since it's the same color as Yellow trucks.

I fondly call it "Macaroni and Cheese." It's an excellent color, and it looks great with that blue jacket!

Nice! I love that color!
Someone in the Schenectady area has a red one, and one that color. Very bright and visible!

I second "Macaroni and Cheese" as my one friend has one of the newer Mustangs in that color, and he calls it the Velveeta mobile.

So are the red ones.

In fact, pretty much all of the Buddy colors are the fastest. :)
