There is a newer shop in the Dallas area where I spotted a Valentine 150 the shop was new, small and seemed to be thrown together much like this Valenitine. Initially its a good looking scoot but as I inspected it I wasn't impressed. The rep at the dealer didn't offer much help or insight.

Maybe they thought "ABS" was an acronym for "always brake slowly"?
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

Puma Valentine 2011

Post by Scootiluv »

I know this thread is old,but I just purchased my second Puma and this one, like my first is the Romeo.

I purchased one 3 years ago and have not had one mechanical problem and it is my daily driver unless the roads are icy. I , however , always loved the look of the red and white scoot , so I grabbed it when one became available on craigslist. If anyone is hesitant , don't be , these are mechanically sound . I also worry a lot less about theft as I would have if I'd gotten a more high end and expensive Vespa or Buddy .
For the price and complete lack of issues , in my opinion they have both been fun , fantastic and reliable rides . I also found a great scooter mechanic that is very comfortable doing my maintenance .

Does it make it easier to push if you wear Puma sneakers?

Yes, but they acknowledged they were posting to an old thread. And they added to the thread with their very on-topic experience.
