New Top Case

Post by scubadoobie »

Got a top case...the Soft Italia one Genuine is selling now as a matching accessory. Seems MUCH sturdier than the previous version of the Genuine top case and this one has a quick release, so it's easy to remove. Will take some pics of the inside and post this evening.

Shout out to Steve at ScooterSmith in Houston! This was on back order for a long time and came in at a higher price than the original, which I expected. (The old ones were being replaced by a different product.) He installed it for me and didn't charge the price difference because of the wait. He's got Genuine scoots in stock....go see him!!

Edited: added a few more pics

The seat cover is from Cheeky Seats. They do good work!

Looks like it is larger than the previous Genuine top case. Is that true?

I just got this topcase ...

Thank you for the pictures ... I think this will help me put mine on, as the little illustration sucks :)
What did you do with the extra hardware? The illustration really doesn't show the need for all the hardware sent.

Any other tips or advice for this topcase?

And the pics now give definite beyond a shadow of a doubt proof that the rear rack holds 13ish lbs.

Looks good on your scoot!

I like the removable feature too.

Which exact case is this? Got a link?
