A little rust at the floorboards

Post by Tom »

Don't know what you call the part, but I'm sure you get what I mean.
I was washing the Stella yesterday, and noticed that some of the seams where you put your feet when riding, have some room between them, not a perfect weld. They were covered initially by paint which has since cracked away exposing the open space.
I'm think about using some old rustbullet (just used a bit on the floorboards of my Datsun truck and have leftover) and a syringe to try and fill that spot. Seem like a good idea?

What do you all do, or does anyone else have the same issues?
