[NBR] Scooter Anniversary

Post by jrstone »

My scooter was delivered to my door a year ago this week. I initially thought I would start out with a scooter then after a while I'd sell it and get a motorcycle. Not a chance now. Although I may still get a motorcycle eventually, I am always going to have a scooter. I am hooked. I've put 5000 miles on it in 12 months, and I am just getting started.

Nice pic, jr. Is that the SportCity? I only saw one once several years ago but don't really remember it.

I enjoy my Buddy because I never get on the freeway. If I got say, a Ninja 650, I would feel obligated to take the freeway to exercise it. I'm content to stay on surface streets for now.

Yes it is. I've never seen another 125. I've seen a few Sportcity 250s around town though. But in OKC, most scooters I see are Buddies.
