Hi MaxG, welcome to our little corner of the PGO universe.

I see you have a GMax with a 61mm bore kit. I assume that means a GMax 150 increased to 170cc.

Here in the US we do not yet have any proven bore kits for the Blur/GMax 150

Can you give us details? Is that a standard GY6 big bore kit, or does the PGO C5 require a special kit?

its a ported / polished ceramic coated chromebore 61mm block kit[ not rebored]

..an mtrt cam was also installed...complete with upgrade performance part on the transmission...

some mild conversion is needed coz its not a bolt on...

dcr racing can is installed...im still waiting for the dcr "airbox" from taiwan...

the only thing i need is the high ratio gearing....a friend of mine has one[very difficult to find]-which im desperate to buy

it will add another 5-6km/m top end...

on standard gearing acceleration is very quick...i was thinking if i installed the high gear ratio..i might loose some acceleration [bad for city driving]..but ill gain some top end..

..maybe it can be sorted out by adjusting the rollers

what i wanted to know is..is it worth to upgrade to 4V [4v is a bit expensive] just to squeeze more juice: price vs. another 10kmh speed?

putting a gmax 200cc engine to a gmax 150cc chassis

Post by maxG »

hi...anyone knows if the whole set of the gmax 200cc engine that also includes the transmission fit on a gmax 150cc engine bay?

do they have similar bolt locations

what i want to do is:

if there's a gmax 200cc being written off but the engine and the transmission is undamage...

maybe it can be installed on a gmax 150cc body without any modifications...

are the transmission on both models the same? [pulley, clutch, belt size..etc?]

also, for a stock 200cc,,how far can you "rebore" the block?

and is there an aftermarket block that can be bolted on a gmax 200cc to increase the displacement?

is the stock exhaust of the 200cc same as the 150cc?
