Post by magpiash »

so, i've borrowed my cousin's scooter and have had to do some of my commute in the very early (pre-sunrise) morning while it's still quite dark. i have a pair of yellow lensed glasses that i wore and it was great! has anyone else used yellow lenses in low light conditions?

If you're looking for cheap ($16 shipped) but good riding glasses, check out this guy:

http://www.thebestmcglasses.com/

His name is Ian and he's a good guy. If you tell him tam from CW sent you, he might throw in a free protective bag. There's nothing in it for me, btw so this isn't spam. I'm just passing on a good link. I have several of his glasses and they're comfortable, have foam inserts, and even fit odd-shaped heads..

So I just got some sweet glasses. They're safety glasses actually. Clear lenses. Flat stems that fit nicely under the helmet.

I got them at Harbor Freight Tools. Love that place.

...and the best part, 4 BUCKS!!

I have a couple pair that I like, and they're great for cloudy or rainy days.
My faves are simple KD's. They're usually around 5 bucks a pair. They work better with a full face, but they fit close enough to the face to be worn with an open face helmet.
