From the North Country. Mississippi River in Central Minnesota. It does get a bit warmer in the summer.

Krusty, Say Hi to your parents. It's really cool to see them on a scooter and that you have cool parents to enjoy scooting with. Your a very lucky lady. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Alright, this thread is about to get a bit longer!
My Bud needed to have a dealer "check-up" before I hit 500mi, so we went to Fairhope, AL today! The dealer there doesn't actually sell Buddys, but they used to and are still considered a dealer by Genuine and are able to work on them. Anyways, their shop is about 45 miles from our house, so we left when I had 430mi on my odometer just to be safe... Everything checked out good and the dude signed my book and we were on our marry way sooner than expected.
We stopped at a gas station to look at a map so we could pick a nice route home. Before we could even get off our scoots, this older gent pulls up in his car behind us and says "Is that a Honda 250?". Turns out the guy has been wanting a scooter for some time, but his wife will not let him get one. They start talking about the Helix a bit and then he says "...and what's that you got there? A Buddy?" Heck yeah! I said. By this time he is pulling out of the way of a car behind him and parking next to us to talk.
He gave them each a good look-around and we let him sit on them and he says the Buddy is what he really wants. I told him what other colors they come in and he was like "no, I like THIS one! OOO, you even got the gangster whitewalls on there!" Turns out the guy's name is Buddy. [amazing coincidence]... He's lived in Fairhope all his life and told us about some great scenic places to ride while we're there. Luckily I had planned on taking some pics so I had my camera, but got a lot more than I expected! Here's a few for your very viewing pleasure:

Can relate
We recently found out that our 18 y.o. was enamored with the Rattler 110 (jus' like mine) despite the fact that the Vespas I've had for years were too "nerdy" for him. Well, he picked one up himself (own money too, wahoo!) and it IS a kick to go Rattling around together! I (think) he thinks so too.Ms. Milan wrote:Krusty, do you scoot with your parents? Now thats cool. I have a 23 and a 19 year old. Scooters are not cool enough for them. They have no idea what they are missing.

I went for a long ride today (long at least for me). I rode up to Bartlett Lake, which is Northeast of Scottsdale, AZ on the Verde River. I wanted to go up there for a couple reasons. One, because it's been about a decade since I've been there, and second because it is one of the few roads in the Valley of the Sun which has both hills and turns not associated with stoplights. But it's a long way from my house. About an hour from my house, in fact. Let's just say I'm not ready for the Cannonball Run!
So after about an hour, I get to the beginning of a 15 minute ride that wasn't all that great. The road's rough, and the speed limit's too high. I like the 10-15 minute ride up South Mountain much better. Maybe on a Maxi-scoot, or if I had a few thousand more twisty miles under my belt I would like it better.
But enough complaining. Sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses:
And get to the lake:
Then back home again - 3.5 hours and 200Kms later. All in all a nice day - except for the sore butt.

just got back from doing about 80 miles in and around seattle... I actually out of nowhere ran into one of my buddies who rides an Atomic Fireball Stella! and he showed me some great scenic rides around the area.
The first two pictures are under the Fremont Troll, under the fremont bridge.
The second one is of our rides taking a bath!
