scooter covers for winter

Post by scullyfu »

looking for recs on a good scooter cover. i have a stock buddy 125cc with a genuine trunk; my slipstream windscreen doesn't stick up as much as the buddy one. i live in buffalo in case the weather conditions come into play. the scooter will be in an open garage for the winter.

thanks.

Add a splash of 91% isopropyl alcohol to the gas tank and rock on center stand to mix, drain carb fuel bowl to avoid this, remove battery (if necessary) and connect float charger, and cover scooter with an old bed sheet.

I have the basic ScooterWorks Prima cover, which has a zipped expansion if you have a top case. It's held up for three winters so far, and mine lives out in the weather sans garage.

I find most covers last me about 3 yrs.....by then the sun degrades it, and it begins to rip all over. I think I had decent luck with Champion covers.
