Bad day yesterday...
Started off with a stressful day at work.
Rode home in very cold rain/wind, for 2 hours. Traffic in all directions was at a standstill, even at 7pm, because, you know, rain. My raingear ripped in just the right place to let water pool under my unmentionables.
When I got home, there was a voice mail from my wife. Someone hit her scoot in the work parking lot and drove off.
Thankfully I think it's just some plastic, no real damage. I'm still very annoyed....
Put all my clothes in the dryer, and guess what? that died...
However..TODAY IS FRIDAY.

I got home just as the first drops started falling that day. It got heavy pretty fast. Sorry to hear you were trapped in it!
Glad the wife's scoot seems OK.
What's up with the dryer? Does it run but there's no heat? If it's electric, you can fix it yourself really cheap; I've done mine twice and saved a ton of $.

since she has all the stickers and such, we decided to leave the 'windshield piece alone for now, and just replace the fender.
$36. Overall, not so bad.
The dryer turned out to be a sensor where the door shuts. $50 and it's back in action. My landlord paid for that, but I'm going to sneak $50 onto the rent check this month. He's done a lot for us that he really shouldn't have to.
