Buddy 125 seems dead !

Post by Gma Dot »

I changed all four turn signal bulbs from original to Sylvania Silver Star #1156. After installation, the scooter electrical was completely dead. I put my battery tender on, but no help. Can anyone give me some ideas on what's wrong?

try changing them back? Did you check your fuses?

Probably not exactly related to your problem, but I know your are supposed to make sure your relay is compatible if you change the bulbs. Not sure if that caused an issue with the electrical wiring.

The first thing I would want to do is get back to where I was before I started. Turn ignition off. Completely remove all the bulbs you installed. Check your fuse. I bet it's blown. Replace the fuse. Put the old bulbs back in. Everything okay? Turn signals work? All lights working? Once you are back to baseline then look into what's involved in changing things out.
