Scooter dues when put up on center stand

Post by 125cclemon »

So two months ago I cleaned my carb. And a week ago I put in a new air filter. I checked again to make sure it is seats correctly with the rubber intake. Now every time I go to park after my ride and put it up on the center stage the engine dies.

Can anyone help here?

Will it start while on the centerstand?

Check the area around the stand for any pinched or bared wires.

Yes it will. But not as easily as it does on the ground.

something is bound up. It might be a wire. It might be a hose.

Check around the center stand and check things that might be interfering when the rear suspension is compressed. You had the seat bucket removed when you were working on the carb, so the sat bucket could be pinching something too.

Gee, I thought this thread was going to be about some city fees when you don't use the kickstand.
