Buddy dogleg levers?

Post by GoSlash27 »

Does anybody make dogleg brake levers for the Genuine Buddy? My GF has tiny hands and would be more comfortable with a shorter reach on her brakes.

Thanks,

if you can't find a source for prefabbed ones...have OEM ones carefully bent with the curvature & radius that she likes; whether they be the ones currently on the machine, new ones ordered, or salvaged from crashed scoots (?ebay?) is your choice...
did anyone get the license plate number of the bus that just hit me?!?

I believe some of the Roughhouses come with dogleg levers. One of my Buddy 125s has a dogleg lever that the previous owner put on after dropping the scooter and it looks the same as the Roughhouse. To make sure you should talk to your local Genuine dealer(while you are they you might be able to find a Roughhouse on display that you could try out for to see if the reach is better before you buy) or someone on here might be able to confirm.
