Speed Rated Tubless Tires

Post by BigDaddy SnakeOiler »

Most scooter tires are rated j/62 mph. That's just not good enough anymore. Any good suggestions for speed rated tires?

The Michelin City Grips on my Vespa GTS are speed rated P which is 93 mph.

I notice that the Heidenau K80 in a 3.50X10 is also speed rated P. Most of the smaller Heidenaus seem to have at least an M rating (81 mph).

Thanks for the great links.
I like Vee, I had a set of their snow tires, which are "p" rated I believe. The reason I don't want to go with the racing ones is that they are not tubeless. I have the SIP tubeless rims.

Yes, Yes! Thank you, sir!
These tires rock. I was out cruising around 60 and the stability and control these things exhibit is amazing. Can't wait to hit the open road on Wednesday!
