Storage Tube

Post by Point37 »

not sure if anyone has any need for them but operator manual storage tubes work great for storage of msr fuel bottles, tools, etc...the problem with scooters is mounting locations...i had 2 of these mounted on my yamaha tw200 rear rack...the buddy rack isn't very large and doesn't support much weight but they could probably be mounted on a milk crate easily...just throwing it out there

I've used those on a Kawasaki Super Sherpa in the past and they are indeed handy.

Good find! I see eBay seller “ag.gears sells these with a little nylon tubular, handled bag that fits inside so you can store and retrieve a full set of tools. $19 shipped.

EDIT: super cool. Tubes from AgriSupply arrived quickly and for $6 apiece I can be creatively destructive about where and how they get mounted. I’m thinking two bolted on top of my Givi top box will look like rockets, and scraps of landscape fabric are easy to sew into little ditty bags for tools and such so you don’t have to dig stuff out of the bottoms of the tubes.
