Lee, who runs the YouTube channel That Scooter Thing, is currently posting a series of short videos on rebuilding the engine on a Stella 2T. I'll keep this thread updated as he continues to post. The videos are extremely clear, and they would also be useful to people doing other DIY jobs on the bike.

Step 1. Remove the rear wheel.
Step 2. Remove the exhaust.
Step 3. Unhook and remove the carburetor.
Step 4. Unplug the engine wiring.
Step 5. Drain the gearbox oil.
Step 6. Remove the brake, clutch, and shifter cables.
Step 7. Remove the engine from the frame.
Step 8. Remove the flywheel fan cover and cylinder cooling shroud.
Step 9. Remove the flywheel and stator.
Step 10. Remove the rear hub, brake, and dust cover.
Step 11. Remove the clutch.
Step 12. Remove the cylinder and piston.
Step 13. Remove the electric starter.
Step 14. Split the engine case.
Step 15. Remove the crankshaft.
Step 16. Remove the gearbox and driveshaft.
Step 17. Remove the primary drive.
Step 18. Remove the kickstarter and quadrant.
Step 19. Remove the rear brake mechanism.
Step 20. Remove the carburetor box, reed valve, and oil pump.
Step 21. Remove the cylinder studs.
