Don't have time to check yours out yet, but I'm on Myspace from time to time... It's how I keep in touch with the few friends I have, cuz none of the live here anymore. :(

I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. What that means, is that wherever I go, its myspace. :)

Thanks for sharing. That What I want 4 Christmas, looks like a whole lot of fun.

I've defected from Myspace to Facebook as well.

No offense to anyone here, but I only accept people I actually know or interact with IRL as friends. Otherwise, it just gets to be too much with all the SuperPoking and challenges and invitations. I can hardly keep up with the 40+ friends I have now and all their ridiculousness.

There is a Buddy group on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=3986518807

And also kinda in the social networking arena, the Buddy Flickr group:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/97555715@N00/

My biggest addiction? Twitter!

Hm, I haven't yet noticed horrific ads, but I use Firefox and the NoScript add-in.

That's what they all say...

Whoa, the ATX crew could start a scooter gang called the "Westlake Wheelers", a clever and subtle take on the "Westside Wheelers" from Skatetown USA.

Editors Note: I found out about Skatetown USA only yesterday (poseur) from madtolive

Hey, Facebookers! If you have the Pieces of Flair application, you can add some of the MB Buttons.

goodbluegrass, I was perusing your myspace and I see you like Goober and the Peas! I heard them on a local college station way back in, like 93 or 94 and promptly bought their records. Have you heard Blanche? It's Goob's newest band (you may know that). It's so awesome to see another Goob fan out there!

HAHA! Go for it!!! I do like the flair app, just cuz Office Space is so great. I like the iLike music app, and a couple others there.

Are there any Simpsons apps? I have always loved your random Simpson quotes in your sig, redcass. Mmmmmm Simspons quotes.

Their search is a bit wonky. I entered a bunch of keywords for the items, many of which don;t seem to work. You get some of them if you search for "modernbuddy." I'll try to work this out.

Maybe MB needs its own Facebook page!

I use Facebook, but only because I was told it was a great way to connect with old friends. And so far, it's worked. I've had several old pals contact me!

I like it for the "real" aspect of it. It's real people, real names, real stalking, er I mean, finding friends. :D

I hate all the apps and invites and pimping of your pals it does.

Never had and never will have a myspace page, that's for kids. I am 40. :D

I will not be assimilated! :P

My wife however, is hopelessly addicted.
Whenever I look over he shoulder at those Myspace/Facebook pages though, my first thought is always the "Super Fighting Siezure Robots" gag from the Simpsons. How you people can stand to have all those flashing and blinking colors and sound and crap going all the time is beyond me!
I mean, for shizzle, I've been on PORN sites with fewer obnoxious pop-up and ad boxes!
