Stolen buddy - Philadelphia (fishtown)

Post by smallspark »

Hi All, My buddy has fallen prey to thieves. I am bummed! Please keep an eye out? Maybe I'll luck out and get it back.

It's a 2006 - burnt orange with brown accents.
It was taken from fishtown - near palmer and belgrade.
License is WHJ22
VIN:RFVPAP5A161001270

Some details:

It has a chrome rack on the back.
Left hand has some scuffs and a slightly out of line handbrake due to some neighborhood kids dropping it.
The mileage got stuck at I think 976, something close to but under 1000 miles. It never changes.
The speedometer doesn't work either.
The front of the bike kind of "ticks" sometimes when it's moving.

If you see anything give me an email at giordano dot dana at gmail dot com

Sorry to hear you lost your buddy. You might also want to post it here:

Be sure and let your dealer know. Good luck! I hope it was insured.

Also, you may want to alert local dealers about the theft. you'd be surprised at how often thieves bring a stolen scoot to a dealer to either sell it or repair damage caused when stealing or trying to hotwire it.

I hope you're not the gal I spotted a few weeks ago at the Lukoil gas station at Spring Garden & Columbus. Sorry to hear the bad news. I will keep my eyes open for sure.

My brother lives in Port Richmond, he just helped me get my buddy from Philly Scoot's, I'll ask him to keep an eye out.
