(waiting for site to load…) These better not be Truck Nutz. Or anything like Truck Nutz...

Oh, Bobbers. Yeah, they're sorta "the thing" now it seems. Next year everyone will be unloading their scooters to buy these.

There's another thread where someone was admiring them, so as a moderator, let me remind you that nothing is stupid and everybody's opinion is valid & cetera.

I don't care for them, and they appear to be cheap and probably Chinese made, but their site *still* hasn't loaded (I googled it while I was waiting) so I can't be sure about that.

I could never get the site to load. Just kept timing out on me.

Thats kinda ironic. A Triumph rider that I talk with all the time at my morning coffee shop handed me a scrap of paper with that link on it on thursday. He said I should have gotten one of those instead of my buddy. I asked why I would get a cheap Chinese chopper that maxes out at 110cc, when I can get my buddy and stand out from the crowd :)

Yeah, I googled it. Honestly I don't think they're dumb.. but by any means I don't think they're cool either.

Maybe if I saw one, depending on the attitude of the rider, I would consider it "neat".. and that is about it.

Wha?!?!?! Those things rock the casbah  Maybe it's just me, but I think they're pretty cool.
I don't do much modding on the scoot anymore, just riding :-)

I saw one on CL before I bought my Rattler, thought it was neat, but I was unsure of alot about it (replacement parts, etc)

It can be bought from a gift shop.

Not sure why that one thing stuck with me.
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

I'm with Kurzer on this one; I think they're pretty slick. They seem a bit underpowered, but so far I've only been able to find favorable reviews. I challenge other forum members to come up with damning evidence!

If they are as cheap as they look, they will fit right in in parts of my city. Broken down taken apart on the front lawn next to a couch an 80's mustang and an old camaro. All broken down.

Well, at this point, I don't think anything that owners report 90-110mpg is all that dumb. I'm all for anything that lowers our consumption and emissions. And the really paired down ones aren't too bad. Think of how much easier it would be to work on!

Half naked women straddling cheap bikes....never did a thing for me.
You can see the hormonally challanged age group that these folks are trying to appeal to.

The males on this forum may beg to differ but I hope that certain scooter magazines never turn into eye candy for the male like so many bike rags. Sure the scooter group had the female teasers in their ads in the past. But they were sexy but tastful. Now the women portrayed are just trashy. Besides there are alot more women riding these days. If there must be eye candy then let it be young males with 6 pack abs with only their skivies on straddling our Buddies! :P

I think it would be fun to customize them. Honestly I don't see the dumb in them, it's just a different style. To each his own I guess.

I ride scooters so my judgement of what others ride is pretty liberal! It has two wheels so it's not all bad!

why would somebody want one?

I gotta agree. Two wheels and an engine is cool. As for the engine itself, it's another Honda clone that can easily be bored and stroked to over 125 cc. and will do over 65 mph. What's not to like? It's a place to begin customizing!!

And yes, with lights and mirrors they ARE street legal.

oh what a tease. now i just gotta say...choppers are super unruly to handle. visualize yourself doing just about anything with those handlebars. it's practically the antithisis of the buddy. i'm a form follows function kind a girl. i don't even get the attraction to belting your pants below the butt so what does this old girl know.
