Transporting the scooter

Anyone have one of those tow hitch carriers? Specifically, the type with a ramp.

How well do these work? Any tips?

dont have one of those.... but anohter tip
when I have trailered my Rattler it gets flooded if the gas tank is full.
My snowmobiles had the same problem, until I installed fuel line shut offs in them.
Dont know if this is a problem with other models or not... but you might want to keep it in mind.

I've read from owners of both the VersaHaul and the Tilt-a-Rack that they like them.

However, one member had a bad experience:

I own a Versa-Haul - which attaches to your hitch and hangs off the rear end. I totally destroyed my rear suspension transporting a motorcycle back from Michigan and one from Minnesota.
One of the best trailers I have used is the Trailer In A Bag. I just brought a motorcycle back from Minneapolis with no problems.
Some reports on the name brand vs. generic eBay carriers:
