They look like these...except these are foam where as the above are gel.

Will these fit a '08 Buddy 125? I have no idea what the diameter of the bars is.

Thank you in advance.

The buddy uses 7/8th inch grips, this one will fit.

It might stick out a little more than stock because of it being 4-5mm longer, but it should still look nice. I searched ebay and many motorcycle stores online, but I can only find the same old foam grips, not the gel ones. Sorry.

Tips to getting it off though, use some WD-40 to lubricate it off. Then, spray some in the new grips and slide them on, let them set for a day and the grease dries like super glue.

Beware of those chrome plastic grips. They are generally very large in diameter (and in my opinion have a horrible feel and are gaud) and are generally too long for scooters. With rubber grips you can sometimes trim them down but with the chrome-ish ends that's not an option.

My favorite grips are Superbike grips by a company called Galindo. They come in many colors, have a nice feel and can be trimmed to fit if they are too long for scooter handlebars. Scoots often have a more set in stone grip length than other motorcycles that have controls that are slightly mobile. The throttle tube on scooters is generally shorter as well.

These are my faves:

Shop around for colors but they are very inexpensive.

Those chrome grips looks like something I've seen at Harley Davidson stores...
Some people can break a crowbar in a sandbox.
