Better jump on it! Word is that the price goes up next week. Something to do with transportation delays from Taiwan and nothing available. Or something like that. I think. Might not be 100% - maybe. And its not very used.

Problem is you can't transfer the warranty if you sell a Buddy!

No worst than someone trying to sell a used Blur for $4500 on this forum.

How about a used Metropolitan (aka 50cc) for $4500? No, I'm not kidding... looks like a lot of people are "speculating" with scooters based on high gas prices. http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/mcy/739665318.html

I don't want to sound cruel, but if anyone actually pays $4500 for a $1900 msrp scoot, they kind of deserve to be ridiculed. You're not "saving money" on gas if you're wasting $2600 (or even $2000, if you're just counting from a $2500 OTD price).

The listing is kind of an experiment/prank.

I didn't think anyone would seriously put their scooter up for sale because of one of my stupid post ideas. I think I'll take the weekend off from causing any more trouble here on MB.

Wait so is the consensus that that's a serious FS post?? I just bought a 2006 Buddy 125 with 580-ish miles for $2200.

$4k? Really?

Hey, good thing you didn't tell people to jump off bridges.

I don't think the Buddy will sell, but it will be kind of funny if it does.

So do you think that $4500 price tag for a used Blur in the For Sale section of this forum is for real? I wonder what medication he's using and where can I get some... :D
