Pimp my Helmet?

Post by ScooterMonkey »

I've got a couple questions for you all.
I have a White HJC full-face, it is boring, & I would like to paint it.
Does anyone know:
1) How to paint a helmet?
B) Where to get the necessary stuff to paint it?
Thx.

I am thinking about doing the same too! right now, my helmet doesn't really match my Buddy, neither black or ornage... so I would like to paint it orange. Figured I just need to spray paint the whole thing while masking up some of the rubber parts. Any recommended brand or tips?

The hydrocarbons in paint tend to compromise the integrity of the plastic most helmets are made of. If you do that, what's the point in wearing the helmet? I recommend vinyl stickers.

Keys is totally correct. Don't mess with your helmet.

Yup. They're right. And there are a lot of cool vinyl graphics out there to liven up your lid. Be creative. Have fun.

Someone else posted this vinyl sticker web site, and I love their incredible wide selection of decals:
