Another Happy New Buddy Owner!

Post by digitalutopia »

I've been lurking for awhile. Yesterday I finally got to pick up my new Buddy. I love it. Now I just need to think of a name for it...
Thanks to everyone that posts here. I learned so much and it helped me decide that the Buddy was a good choice for me.

Where do you live? I looked at the Blur but it was a little too big for me and didn't come in cute girlie colors.

Compared to the Blur..yeah..I'd say cream is "cute". The pink one was just way too over the top girlie for me.

The one and only time Ericalm rode my pink Buddy (sorry, you total the scooter all future riding privileges are automatically revoked. I don't care that it wasn't your fault, and apparently neither does my insurance record) a friend of ours IM-ed me because she had seen him driving through Hollywood.

She said she thought, "Oh, look, how cute, a guy on a pink scooter. He must be really comfortable with his masculinity." Then, when she recognized him, she went, "Of course he is; it's Eric."

in a sense it is. It matches more outsfits than the other scooters. Anything but grey and pure white outfits on the cream buddy are a go in my book.

Then obviously black is the girliest color of all since it goes with everything.

^ unfortunately the silver accents on the black throw things off and make anything in the brown family off limits.

Join the club....my DH rode mine to a club meeting one night before getting his own! He says he can handle it, he's got big shoulders.

It's one of those times when being female works in our favor: we can just go with the color we like, rather than worrying about how other people will react.

By the way, I like the cream too. It was just way too matchy with my cake batter yellow VW bug.

I have a VW Beatle too!

So funny that you have a VW bug. I have the baby blue VW bug convertible. I've noticed lots of scooter people love the VW's.
