Fess Up. How many?

Post by pcbikedude »

Confession time, how many scooters are in your household?

2 and counting here. I'm waiting to see what's cool for '09. Motorsports told me that they'll call me when the Kymco Super 8 comes in. Also, if SYM brings out the WoWow aka their version of the Honda Cub I'm so there.

I'm sure someone like Bunny will have a whole stable full by the end of the year   .
The scenery only changes for the lead scooterist.

Yeah...

No.

The only things I collect are old soda bottles and designer handbags...oh, and really good books. One scooter is plenty for me, thanks!

Although, I might have a decent collection of gear...;)
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

2.

That's probably all. If anything, we may get a couple of motorcycles again (to compliment the scooters, not to replace them).

One, but I get the feeling that as soon as my wife's car is paid off, she's going to want a scooter, too.

Scoots in household

2005 CPI Oliver City 50
1987 Honda Elite 250
Piaggio MP3 250

As soon as the CPI is ready for sale, I'll flog it on CraigsList. Right now it needs carburetor cleaned and adjusted, and the kick start put back on. Wife wants room in garage, or I'd keep it as a loaner. :(

The Honda is my vintage machine. And a lot of fun to ride.

Would you define household for me . . . One of the major reasons I haven't made a commitment.

My wish list:

A)

Something in the 650 cc to 750 cc range maybe Motoguzzi Breva; or new Bonnie Black

and

B)

Scooter for small hops and those cuddly little strokes together: 2 stroke 4 stroke who cares, there was a time when even I use to smoke.

C)

And something from the good ole past would be nice too.

I'd actually like to wish for a bigger garage. The standard two car doesn't hold Sophy, Paky, Bonheur and the cruiser...

I was looking into getting a passport for a while when the buddy fell in my lap (really great deal), I do still eye them though, perhaps I could convince my GF to get one of these SYM knockoffs, at 100cc they should be more powerful than the 70s, still clutch less manual?
Looking for ppl to ride with in LA.

Just one but as soon as it's paid off we are getting a Rattler for my fiance. He is wanting one bad after watching me scoot around.
I once shot a man just to watch him die. Then I got distracted and missed it.

Two -Pinkie and Kinky.

Pink and Black 07 Buddy 125s.

There was no way I was going to get away with buying one for me and not one for my DW. In a month, we are around 750 Buddy miles on each.

Two

My new 2006 pink Buddy 125 came first in April and hubby's new 2007 Blur came just two weeks ago. We both enjoy riding both scoots. Hubby is bugging me to move up to a 150cc so that we can both ride highway, but I'm content for the moment.

Well, I've got the Bud and my dad has a Helix, so since I'm living with the 'rents right now, I guess we have a 2-scoot household. I'm with you about the WoWow, if I have some money if/when they come over here, I'm ALL OVER THAT! My dad would approve, his first scoot was a Honda Passport. 8)

1 car, 1 scooter, 1 bicycle.

This gives me the flexibility of picking the right mode of transportation depending on how fast I need to go: 70mph? Car. 35mph? Scooter. 17mph? Bicycle. 8mph? Run. 4mph? Walk.
