Hehe - glad you found a merry-go-round - my city pulled 'em out of all the parks for 'safety' reasons. Sheesh.

It's been a while since I updated the Scooter Tag List, and it was real pain to find, so I created a new thread for it here.

Richard, to be clear, this particular thread is a 'tag' game - someone posts up a picture of their scooter _with_ the object mentioned by the prior poster, then posts up another picture of their scoot with a new object, and so on down the line. Read back a page or two and you'll get the idea.

Your scoot, though not a Genuine, looks good - it should, however, be in its own new topic and not in the Scooter Tag thread.

The problem with the airport is that my "local" airport is our "big" airport; last time I tried to grab a pic with a Fed'Ex plane, oh my! Things that could potentially cause problems, re: security or safety (hey, a pic on an entrance ramp!) can sit for a while.

Also, the game slows as it grows colder and gets dark earlier because (at least I've been told), there are people who stop riding when it's 33F in the morning

Yeah, our airport is a small private one. I was riding around on the run way cause I was the only one there.

I also need to remember that is just now starting to get cool enough that it is comfortable to ride around and does't feel like a sauna. I forget it is a little cooler for most folks.

If no one gets a picture, I will take another.

I did an airplane (ok, junked airplane) tag a page or two ago. I haven't been out enough to find something different, say, a 'working' aircraft.

However, there's a nice Blue Angels FA-18 on display next to our McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing Planetarium in the park. If I get motivated enough, I'll snag that, but hey, don't wait for me.

Gawd - I can do this but I'm too wiped out from ATL's Scooting Dead Rally . . . which you missed! 'Twas a most excellent rally! I'll be posting two vids later today, and a third over the weekend.

We don't have any pumpkin patches here on the Texas coast.

Well its just a pumpkin sales patch for Halloween - not an actual pumpkin patch/farm. :D Don't you have those?

No! I live in a very rural fishing community. The whole county has about 35,000 people in it. We are about 120 miles from the nearest big city. Most of the towns are a couple of 1000 people if that many.

Yes, my husband and I have half the scooter population down here. I have seen two other scooters, but I think they are winter Texans that have been arriving. They aren't anyone I know and that is hard to believe. lol

It looks like a while since the clown/amusement park challenge. Perhaps winter lull? Or in my case "my scoot was stolen" lull?!

Heh. We had one good day recently where I could have rode out to Six Flags for a snapshot. Tragically, way too many items on my honey-do list and I didn't get out of the barn.

I wasn't sure if I killed the game with my tag or if it was just a winter-issue.

If we just go off the ubiquitous Subway sandwich shop sign it should get things moving again...
