Read the fine print. You have to buy two raffle tickets. One for the left and one for the right. Good luck winning both .brettro wrote:those gloves are mine!
best wishes alix!
If win one and you win the other maybe we can arrange joint custody.

I told you to keep an eye out on the raffle.
So, added today is the Scooterworks messenger bag.
http://tinyurl.com/6k2mdr
If you would like to contribute a prize, contact me. Does that include raffling yourself off? Sure.
Important Q&A
If there are 10 prizes, there will be 10 winners.
One person DOES NOT win them all. Well, unless their name was drawn 10 separate times for 10 separate prizes.
Not likely to happen.
If you enter 6 times, you have 6 individual chances. The more you buy, the better the chance. Then again, all it takes is one ticket.....
For more info on the charitable donation:
http://www.peacescooter.com/support-the-ride/
Scroll down for info.
The original goal was $1 per $1 mile driven.
I just never thought that was too much given the way we Americans fancy all our sundries and toys.
Basically, my goal was to give 60% and in a worse case scenario, keep 40% for travel expenses. I've been clear about that from the very beginning.
My friends, you try to do a 22,000 mile trip on just 40% of the money I've raised so far. THAT would be impossible.
It is a historical event going down.
Be proud and be part of it.
Any more questions? Please, at this point, just call me.

If I don't answer, it's because I'm driving. Leave a message.
p.s. buy a raffle ticket.

Great pic on the back of Scoot, too.
Alix - I heard you and Dave on the podcast a few weeks back, and you have been on a great adventure! I'm jealous! (in a good way).

Saw one of those in orange over the weekend. The pic is priceless:Alix B wrote:Superhot 2stroke Buzz shirt that I totally want to keep for myself.
I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

Bwahahaha, Alix linked directly to the t-shirt art on my site. I could totally Goatse her post!
(If you don't know what Goatse means, please don't google it. Seriously.)
(Just to be clear, I pretty much told Alix to direct link, I wasn't slagging her.)

Okay, I just bought the winning raffle tickets! Tomorrow may be my last day on the scooter for some time. At least for a couple of weeks, and maybe nine months or so if things work out as planned. I am feeling kind of bummed about not being on my Buddy, so come on goodies!!! I need a little scooter stuff pick-me-up!

I learned the hard way not to direct link one time. That's all it took. Photobucket is my friend now.
I actually got banned from a forum once and was able to change my avatar on all my posts by just changing the name of my photobucket file. The poor forum owner (who, of course, was completely in the wrong for banning me and later reinstated me) had NO idea how I was doing it!!

Prizes & Winners (drum roll please…) Congratulations!
1. Ipod Nano: Gary Martin
2. Vintage Helmet: Shane Wilson
3. Messenger Bag: Eric Almendral
4. Genuine Workshirt: Deborah Bishop
5. D.O.T Flip Flops Shirt: Jay Monteverde
6. Corazzo Gloves: Charles Leib
7. P.E.A.C.E. Scooter T-shirt: Deborah Bishop
8. Keychains: Samuel Fischer & Ed Hitchcock
9. San Francisco ScooterGirls 2008 Calendar: Daniel Tilton
there is a little video up announcing the winners. It's neither here nor there as far as exciting, but I said I would film live, so I did.
The original plan was to film live at Scoot Richmond. Then I got stuck in traffic and a 2 hour drive turned into a 6.5 hour drive. Needless to say, I was beat and discovered I didn't even have enough raffle tickets-because I oversold the anticipated 150.
This meant we took the kid to Chuckee Cheese today, and put her to work earning some at skeeball....
Again thanks for all the help. I wish you all could have won.
I guess I'm going back to civilian casual scooterist status.
For now......

Woohoo! I won! And though I'll be the recipient of a cool bag, I in no way regret all the times I entered and did not win. All for a good cause.
Thanks so much Alix for all you've done for the Buddy, the forum and of course for P.E.A.C.E.!
