bore kits and modifications

for a rattler 50 ... i put a malossi boar kit a prima pipe reed valves , 7 gram rollar weights and an 85 carb jet, im in south carolina and feel my bike is running rich.. i pulled the kit off and put on a prima head kit to check the head after a soft seize the piston was abit sticky so i think it is running rich.. any advice to avoid another soft seize ?? i have an 85 carb jet in it now as advised by ryan at scooter works .
