Broken mirror

Post by standup »

Every now and then my right mirror would swing loose. When I didn't have a wrench handy, say, in traffic, I'd tighten the nut most of the way and swivel the mirror to get it tight enough to stay put.

I apparently never wrenched the locking nut tight enough, because it kept happening. Then, a couple days ago, the mirror stem sheared off.

Scooterworks (on the website, anyway) has generic vespa mirrors or stems, but it doesn't look like it's threaded like a Buddy mirror. Any ideas who would have a mirror stem or mirror and stem?

Scooterworks definitely has them (not necessarily in stock though, I suppose). If you can't find them on their site, give them a call. Many people report much better service on the phone with them than through their site.
