Happy Thanksgiving

Post by rajron »

Am I the only one trying to kill time to get out of here for Thanksgiving?
Nobody is working anyway why don’t they just let me go.
I only have 6 more hours to leave work --- can’t wait – need turkey

Uh... yeah. Keeping one cautious eye out for the boss while having a "work" window open on one monitor and goofing online on the other...

Wonder if there are any donuts left?

We were released at noon, mountain time. But I'm in Boulder for the day and my Buddy is in the Springs and I'm so bummed because it's gorgeous out!

Rather than working, today I went to the Blackhawk Museum with some family, and it was spectacular! Is it so wrong if not only do I love the look and style of old cars, but I also love the smells they exude? I used to just go and sit in my cars just for the smell... hmm, perhaps I shouldn't post that in a public forum! Anyway, makes me want to own another classic, leaky, rusty, smelly, old car

Never been to the Museum, wish I did when I lived in the bay area – played golf there though.

Vespa Walnut Creek is sponsoring a ride and personal tour to the BlackHawk Museum on December 2, I think. Look in the rides and rallies section on modern vespa.com

The Blackhawk museum is a real treat, and definitely not to be missed on an extended tour of the Bay Area. For anyone who lives here who hasn't been: Go! You will be awestruck.

And for anyone in SoCal or heading here for the holidays, the Petersen Auto Museum on Wilshire in LA is having Big Daddy Roth show. I hope to get to it this weekend. See, we kinda have culture down here.

Hmmmm. I got off work at 10:00 pm Central Time. Of course, I did ride the Budd to work the past two afternoons and home again when I got off. Somehow, the idea of having to work late while my wife was doing the Thanksgiving turkey, pies, etc., didn't really bother me much.

No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.
