Many Buddys, One Place...

Post by ericalm »

This post once again called into question what we would call a grouping of Buddys (not buddies). There was some discussion of this here. Since there are more Buds on the road and a greater likelihood of several in one place, it's time we settled this once and for all.

Options are selected by me from previous post. Most people seemed to favor the alliterative names. Placed in alphabetical order for, you know, fairness.

I'd like to hear six or seven Buddys brapping near WOT down the road! That'd be cool! 8)

A brap of Buddys! :D

I'll go with brap.

We had four of them brapping WOT at some points on Saturday, but I could only hear my own and the bike nearest me, and there were non-Buddys out-numbering us.

If we're going with the alliteration thing, I'll choose "bevy." Although I really like "band" too. Not so much a fan of "brap" but I'm flexible.

I'm actually surprised that "BRAP" is a not too distant second right now.

The Buddy engine does sound a little brappier than most other modern CVT scoots.

Good job reviving this most important topic EC! I will admit it....I voted for Brap! It is the sound that a Buddy makes, and besides...farts are ALWAYS funny!

"Bevy" has the allure of double alliteration. I like "Band" second, and I agree that "Brap" sounds far too farty for me.
