Common Sense Quotient required for Driver's License ++

Post by Quo Vadimus »

They really have no idea that what they're doing is wrong. It's not like speeding, where you do it, you know it's technically against the law, but for the most part nobody's going to mind. The dude passing in the bicycle lane (in Ann Arbor, mind you), in intersections, and across the double yellow line actually told me "you're allowed to do that, go look it up!" when I very, very, very politely inquired as to his level of sobriety at the stop light.

Watch out, people.

I would have to argue that the cat is both alive AND dead until it is observed. :)

There is one traffic light on my way to work that always takes at least 2 light cycles to get through it. There is a guy on a large Honda Gullwing that passed all the cars on the right side in the bike lane every day. Not only is it illegal. I know it has to piss off all the cars and law abiding 2 wheelers waiting their turn to get through the light.

I would have to argue that the can is both full and not full of worms until it is opened.

So Werner Heisenberg is stopped by a cop for speeding. The cop asks, "Do you have any idea how fast you were going?" Heisenberg replies, "No, but I know where I am!"

Rene Descartes walks into a bar.

The bartender asks, "Do you want a drink?"

"I think not," replies Descartes, and promptly disappears.
