I was catching up on old posts and found this image in one of redcass' gallery posts:

I don't know if this is what he was trying for, but it reminded me of Rollie Free:

Considering he was probabley doing the speed trial in that photo, IIRC they did them on the salt flats so yeah road rash salty style. :lol: :cry:

Actually, Rollie is wearing a shower cap. They just made them sturdier back in 1948.

Imagine how much faster he would have gone had he been wearing one of those drag reducing skin suits. :lol:

Or even just removed the loafers! I'm sure the heel of those things were dropping his top end by a few mph...

(But I also imagine the Utah desert is a pretty darn hot place to stand when he ends his ride to not have shoes on!)
