One reason why it would be good to have a big SUV. That's 25-30 tanks you can siphon off into your buddy.

Man, that sucks...burning up half of a tank trying to fill it back up, it sounds like.

Time to start draining the hoses into your tank, i'd say.

Check out the Cannonball scoots for auxiliary gas tanks. At least then you could just fill up once a month!

Either that or I could start sleeping at the BP down the street. Sigh.

I don't *get* it. Why is it Atlanta is having difficulty getting tankers through? SUpply chain mismanagement anyone?
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

A fellow who works for me just took his lunch break and saw a station with some gas. He jumped in line and is filling his gas can with a couple of gallons for me. Woo Hoo! Can you say raise

That's crazy - we had the same situation in Nashville Sept. 19-21 but have pretty much returned to normal. The people rush in that may not need to fill up and the stations that have it get drained fairly quickly. Not a fun experience with these cities largely dependent on the Colonial Pipeline, apparently for much of the supply.
I will lways try to have a fairly full 2& 1/2 gal. can at home for the Bud.

Due to the hurricanes refinement and distribution to the SE got messed up. Most states except for Georgia requested release of emergency supplies right away and were granted them. Sitll had shortages and till things could get caught up. Georgia's govenor waited a week so they are feeling what has been going on in other states and it will probably be a week or two before things level out.

I passed 4 or 5 stations in Atlanta with gas- only regular but plenty of gas no lines in Midtown and on downtown connector. Love commuting only a half a mile on the scooters

Wow, really? Up North in the Alpharetta area it is mostly bone dry. I am hoping this gets better in the next few days.

I hate filling up the Buddy at a gas stations so I keep a two gallon can in my garage that I use to fill the Buddy at home. I re-fill the can when I go to fill up one of my cages.

I've started running my buddy on the fuel from Bic lighters. They're cheaper than gas, always available, and they give a HUGE boost upon start-up.
