What do you want from SANTA?

Post by scooterhuze »

I am after a the cowl protectors so I can get my kids to go for a scoot with me. They HATE the passenger foot rests. Maybe I'll get a hoodie and a dead bunny patch if I am extra good. :D

I think I would like weather warm enough to ride the scoot on Christmas. Don't laugh ... that happens up here every now and then ... once every 10 years or so.

I haven't even picked my new-to-me scooter yet but have quite a wish list.

I want a basket for the front, a rack and the basket for the back (both "wicker"), cowl protectors for the same reason as you (my long legged children have big feet too!), and a passenger backrest.

Eventually, I hope to get some saddlebags and a large roll bag.

Cheers,

Cowl protectors will not change a thing, they dont have foot pegs on them, so your kids will still hate the OEM foot pegs. You need a et4/et2 bar that mounts to the standard buddy foot pegs.

There's always my stocking

Post by scooterhuze »

I guess I will have to clean my room to get the footpegs nestled in the bottom of my stocking under the Dove dark chocolates and the Pez dispenser. Thanks for the tip.
Do you suppose an extra cookie and a splash of Brandy would help my cause?

......Santa is not real.

You'll have to ask your credit card if it's willing to spare $100

http://www.scooterworks.com/Passenger_F ... _P2036.cfm

They mount right ontop of the OEM foo tpegs, easy install.

Here's what is on my SW wishlist:

Spring, Centerstand - Most
Seat, Single Saddle - Front
Buddy Seat, 60s
Bracket, 60''s Buddy Seat
Floor Rail Kit - VNB, VBB
Centermat, Rally, VBB, Etc. - Black
Taillight Assembly, Allstate
T-Shirt, Allstate Red (,X LARGE)
Pint Glass, Buddy
NCY Front Forks, Buddy 125/150 - Grey
YSS Gas Piggyback Shock, Buddy 50/125
Horn Gasket, Black
Packing, Horn Grey
Tool Roll w/ Cloth Bag
I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

Actually the cowl protectors work great for my kids to rest their feet on and makes them feel more comfortable when I take them for short rides around the block. (I don't take them for long ones yet)

My wish list from Santa:
NCY Front Forks, Buddy 125/150 - Grey
YSS Gas Piggyback Shock, Buddy 50/125
Scooter Cover
One of those super heavy duty chains with a lock
1000RPM Clutch Spring
Prima Pipe
Dr Pulley Variator with 10 gram sliders
Size 95 Carb Jet
Torque and impact wrenches
Gorilla Alarm system
Saddlebags
Corazzo 5.0 Large mens riding jacket
$1,000,000
World Peace

For Christmas I would like a large tin full of chocolate covered peanut clusters, and Rock Band 2 for PS3.

And perhaps a 200cc fuel injected scooter.

His ego needs no more stroking.

Hurray for SANTA AKA my hubby.

He came through with cowl protectors and footpegs, Buddy socks, Buddy T-shirt & Italia pint glass. Oh, and also the coveted "It's not a moped, it's a scooter" patch that is already sewn onto my Italia green jacket. If only I could convince him it is OK to bring my Buddy into the house to put the cowl protectors on. SO WHAT if there is a foot of snow on the ground and the shed is 75 feet away. I miss my Buddy
