Post by Eazy »

I just got my hoody this morning.

Part 1 of my review of it can be found on my Blog

The site is still under construction but I am open for feedback.

I took them before I went to work,

I'll have those in the update tomorrow.

I'll also edit the post so it can be posted in the review section.

Thanks for the review Easy. The underhoodie is going to be my next piece of winter gear. I was also a bit worried about the arm length :) Did it seem to fit along the lines of shirt size, or will it be like when I ordered my Corazzo 5.0 and had to go a size bigger?

seriously tho, thanks for the review. I have been debating whether to invest in this. I'm currently wearing a Corazzo 5.0, which just isn't warm enough for me now that we're into the 40's in Seattle. Plus it's too tight for me to pile on the layers underneath. Not sure if an under-hoodie would be enough or if I should look into getting a new jacket first...

Thanks for the review. It didn't occur to me that the underhoody could be worn over my clothing. I was thinking of it like a turtleneck that's layered another another shirt or sweater.

Now that I know how to wear it, I might need to get one. Or not. I bet the hoodie/balaclava is more comfortable under my helmet than my regular fleece balaclava is.

I'm trying to convince the wife to sew a DIY underhoody-type garment for me. No, it won't be as nice or warm. But for SoCal, I can't justify buying one.

Part 2

I'm fighting writers block right now (knocking the dust off the blogging part of my brain).

I may revise it once or twice before I present an MB version for the review section.

Interesting that you refer to it as a "jacket." I always thought it was more of a layering garment for under shirts, clothes and so on, like a thermal. Being able to pull it over my street clothes makes it a lot more usable.

Good review; you hit all the key points that I was curious about.
$79 doesn't sound so expensive after reading your review. :)

I've worn it almost everyday since I got it.

I added pictures to the first part of the review.

I love my underhoody. I have had a few chances to wear it when the weather dropped to the low 40's high 30's here. So I layered wearing a sweatshirt then the hoody then my Joe Rocket jacket. Wasn't cold at all very comfortable. I normally wear size large shirts and that is what I got in the hoody and the sleeve length was perfect for my btw. Great reviews exactly what I would have said.

Woot,

Check it out, Corazzo liked my review enough to link it on their website.
