I DO need Help
So I know in the previous topic I explained I had fixed everything. Yeah. Right. I'm still having an issue with my top speed. My buddy seems to be lugging it barely up to 45, when I used to breeze up to an indicated 65. I've checked the clearance on my front brake, restored all my previous screw ups and have checked both my idle timing and my throttle cable. I can think of no reason why this would be happening. If I throw it up on the center stand and throttle, it sounds like it normally does. Recently I DID change tires, about a week ago, but that shouldn't be the problem. They do say to fill to a higher PSI (35) but I don't think that should matter either. Honestly it feels like I'm dragging something. Who thinks what?

As I told my buddy Isaac, start first with the easiest fix. Change out your spark plug for a correctly gapped one. They are cheap and often you can't tell if there is something wrong with it.
The next issue would be gas delivery. Pull the carb (an easy do...two screws, a cable and a couple vacuum lines) and clean the heck out of it. The problem COULD be bad gas. Water from condensation in the station's tank could have gotten in. Or dirt if you got a tankful from the bottom of the stations tank.
Then have somebody with a continuity tester check the ground wire from the coil...this seems to have been an issue in a few cases (mine included).
Hope this helps.
