MAN! Sorry to hear that!

Try checking ebay or craigslist to see if you can spot your scooter (in case they're trying to resale it)

Once again sorry to hear about your scooter

O NO!!! !!! !!!

That is one of my worst nightmares. When my bike got stolen from off my front stoop, I went berserk. Try posting notices on your local Craigslist and on MySpace and other scooter BBS. Call any and all motorcycle & scooter shops in the area to let them know to keep an eye out for it. With a lot of patience and vigilance, I actually got my bike back.

Good luck finding your scooter! Keep us posted. *crosses fingers for you*

Sorry to hear about your Buddy!

There's a Stolen Scooter Registry on scoot.net: http://scoot.net/stolen/
Stolen scoots are sometimes recovered, for what it's worth.

Man, that sucks extra hard. Did you have insurance? I'm assuming that insurance on a scoot works like that on any other automobile. Does anyone have input on the insurance agencies out there (value, customer service, etc) ?

Where in the SFV do you live? I'm in NoHo; we usually park in the garage but occasionally get a bit lazy and leave them under a covered patio space overnight. Guess we ought to stop doing that.

You may want to ask Mike at NoHo if you can post a "stolen" flyer with pics in his shop. There will be a lot of people there next weekend for the Scootin' Fool rally.

The Blur looks good.

Any issues with the dealer? Did you really get it in SD?

I hope you can keep the thieves away from your new ride.

Stay away thieves

Post by chizizad »

Man are you telling me I definitely will be looking in my backyard every five minutes to make sure it is OK!!
Yes I did make the trip to SD and man Motor Sport Scooters is the bomb! Really treat people good and I can be kinda of a picky cheapskate sometimes but felt really good leaving there. They have a lot of great accessories also for the Buddy available online and I ordered my trunk from them for my Buddy before it was stolen and they had it to me the next day! :D

Be very careful. Thieves often go back to the same place to steal the
scooter replaced.

If you have backyard that is yours, hook up one of those lights that turn
on brightly when the motion detector senses intruders.

Also, lock the scoot up to something, even though it is in the backyard.
