Hi All, From San Antonio

Post by widespread_panic »

Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself on the board.

My name is Jason from San Antonio, TX. I'm the proud new owner of a 2007 Buddy 125 Series Italia. I just picked it up yesterday. So far I really love it, although I haven't really had a chance to take it out for a long spin. I also have a couple of other bikes; a 2006 Aprilia SR50 R Factory Ditech and a 2003 Yamaha FJR1300. Since getting my Aprilia back in December, I have caught the scooter "bug". Now, my bug bike rarely sees the light of day.

I picked up the Buddy to have a little more oomph and to be able to travel more places around town. I bought it from The Motorcycle Shop in San Antonio. Let me just say, the guys there are first class. I would definitly recommend them to anyone in the area that is looking for a new scoot or trying to find a reputable shop to service on existing bike. They have a great store with tons of scoots. You can check them out at www.themotorcycleshopsa.com.

I look forward to participating on the board, gettin' to know everyone, and hopefully, being able to join you guys on a ride from time to time. Well, the baby is to bed and I have a kitchen pass so I'm off to get a few more miles in on my prized new possession.

Cheers,
Jason F.

Hi Jason!

I'm in S.A. and have a Buddy SI also. I got mine at The Motorcycle Shop and as a matter of fact, Jason (at the shop) told me today he had sold another SI this week.

Welcome to the board. What part of S.A. do you live in? Did you happen to see the two tone red/cream Buddies they had there? Sweet!

See you around town!

Welcome Jason. You can start participating on MB by posting some pics
of your new SI in the pics thread. Get some action shots, the Buddy
about town, etc.

Sidenote: A wise decision on your part, buying the Buddy. And as you
can see from my avatar, I especially like the look of the Series Italia [SI].

Thanks guys. Moniraq, I live in N.W. San Antonio, off of Mainland (Between Bandera and Tezel). Since getting my first scoot, I've been seeing more and more in the area. I missed the recent Spring Fling. Iwas returning from a cruise. I sure wish I could have made it. I was looking on the Alamo Scoots website and saw all of the pictures. It looked like everyone had a great time.

And.... I did see the Red / Cream Buddies that Jason had put together, they do look sweet. The one with the Prima pipe sounds incredible. I just wish it didn't void the warranty.

San Fransisco, the SI is really growing on me. I was considering the black Buddy at first, but Since I have the Aprilia SR50 R Factory Ditech, I thought it would be a great compliment to my (quickly) growing collection.

Cheers,
Jason F.

Jason,

Welcome to MB.

I could swear I have a CD somewhere around here by a band called Widespread Panic.
