Wheelchair scooter! It's a Piaggio Fly. Well, 2 Piaggio Flys. Guess they had a lot of parts leftover. Wonder what they did with them?

I wish I had the money to afford a custom scooter for my wife. She is wheelchair bound and cannot share the fun I have with my scooter

Oh well, someday I'll win the lottery.

my dad is too, so i think that is why i was drawn to this. it's tough sometimes to have them understand what the feeling is like for somethings. my dad rides a 4 wheeled scooter (kinda like a rascal but cooler). he doesn't like to sit on the sidelines but he just can't ride because of the bumps.

Good for Piaggio for building this scooter for people who are wheelchair bound! I think that is great.

I dont think piaggio went out of their way to make this bike for 1 single person. It's probably a hack job done in a local shop.

I may be wrong, I didnt translate to read the article.

It's totally custom built, not made by Piaggio.

I was wondering why Piggio would put resources into creating such a venture when the return$ or ROI was probably not business as usual especially now with sales hurting from the world economy.

Thank you for not destroying my overall sense of cynicism toward the big international corporations.
