My scoot had it's first service today so I got bundled up and made the Kenosha>Lake Geneva pilgrimage. Roughly 35 miles one way.
Fantastic day for a country tour! All the little towns, lakes, and winding roads made for an excellent ride.
One thing is for sure though, winter is almost here. Mid to high 30s is about as cold as I care to go when riding.
Get those rides in before these few sunny warm days go away!
Sounds like a great ride. Try riding around the Holy Hill area south of Hartford, you will LOVE it. The temps are in the high 20's now when I ride to work in the AM. Bundle up for it and it's not real bad.
My long ride was from Appleton, down to West Bend on the west side of lake Winnebago then back up through the Kettle Moraine Forrest on the scenic drive then north on the east side of Lake Winnebago and back to Appleton. 204 miles. I did a blog post with pictures, in case you're interested.

I have backpacked the Southern Kettles as well as having been a road cyclist for many years ridden my bicycle all up and down the northern and southern Kettles. I can't wait for spring, I can guarantee I will be up in your neck of the woods!
Great pics in your blog, love the 'Thou shalt not park here' pic!
