Would it totally ruin your Christmas if I said I'm pretty sure that photo is totally faked? If so, I won't say it.

If it's not faked that guy is putting an awful lot of trust mounting a $4500 camera on non-secured $50 adjustable tripod. I do want to try out a Gorillapod if I can figure a good way to mount it, but there is no way that I would put camera that costs more than my scoot on it hanging precariously over the back end.
Life is too short to drink bad coffee.

I know people who've used them on bicycles with mixed results.

I'm not sure you could get one secured tight enough to the scoot to deal with bumps and vibrations. Maybe on a rear rack…

And definitely, with a lighter, less expensive camera!

Sorry, but I call BS on that. Unless it's zip tied to the scoot, there's NO way that Gorillapod is holding that camera up. No way.

I own the original and have used the nicer one designed for heavier cameras and it just does not have the sticking/staying power to hold it... without help.

If anyone from the company would like to prove me wrong, go for it. Until then, you got called out, Gorillapod people.
