Speedometer Stop Working?

Hey guys - all of a sudden - the speedometer has stopped working - any ideas what to look for?

Yeah, the cable probably came undone at the headset. This happened on mine in under 1000 miles. Easy fix. You can ask your dealer to cover it under warranty or do it yourself.

My opinion? Use locktite on the threads of the connection to the speedo/odo panel. Dealer fixed it for me one, then within a few miles it jiggled loose. Insisted on loctite the second time. No problems.

Check the cable connection at the wheel first. It's less likely to be loose there, but it could potentially save you the pain of going into the headset.

Funny. Mine just stopped working last night after I passed 10,000 miles.

It's a tight fit under the headset, but is an easy fix. Same thing happened to me, also around 1000 miles or so.
