Go to http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com and order a bottle of Port-Au-Prince perfume! All the proceeds will go to the Red Cross response in Haiti. Port-Au-Prince perfume can be found in the Wanderlust collection here http://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/wanderlust.html

their sister company http://www.blackphoenixtradingpost.com is donating a percentage of the general catalog bath oil sales to UNICEF's efforts in Haiti as well.

Not sure if you checked out the initial link Haiti Earthquake Relief

But if you forward your confirmation email to diva @ scooterdiva.com you will be entered in a raffle for a $25 Bikebandit.com gift certificate.

Not a raffle, but a thank you for caring.

I've donated to the Red Cross effort. They have raised more than $800,000. Text HAITI to 90999.

This info is everywhere, but here is a podcast with the USGS associate coordinator for Earthquake Hazards: http://www.usgs.gov/corecast/details.asp?ep=117

And according to http://www.whitehouse.gov/HaitiEarthquake, you can donate by having $10 charged to your cell phone bill by texting "HAITI" to "90999."

Edited to note: oops, had this window open and someone beat me to the punch.

WOW!

my big thing is Toy4Tots and with Christmas less than a month behind us i am only able to give $10 and well drop by lowes and donate that today...

one thing im hearing in the news is there having a very hard time getting supplys from the airfield out to where there needed... there is no electricity nor gas... sounds like a great job for a dozen scooters...
Scoot'in is more fun than beating up your sister, and it comes with a key!!!

ellen, that's awesome. I did the text message thingy, so no confirmation, so no raffle for me. But I love that you've inspired others to give...thank you so much! *hugs & hi-fives*

We all have charities we donate to and a lot of us (me included) give to their church. I don't usually donate to other causes because I figure do as much as I can with what I already give. Having said that. I think it's worth giving up a lunch or two to donate to the Red Cross for the the people of Haiti. I texted HAITI to 90999 (you can't get it out there enough) :) and I hope others do as well.

My boss (our office has 150 real estate agents) e-mailed the info to all our agents, and many have responded. If you are in the position to do something like that, I encourage you to consider it.

I know there are a lot of scams on the Internet, but if you check out the Red Cross Twitter page you'll see this is legit. The secretary of state even gave it out this morning on the Today Show.

This is shaping up to be the worst disaster ever in the Western Hemisphere. If you want to get really depressed, look up the estimated death tolls from natural disasters some time.
