I usually ride the scooter over to *$'s when it's nice out. Have a coffee and either surf the web or read for a bit, sometimes just to get outta da house. I also ride it to bike night. And almost every time it's parked out front, someone makes a positive comment about the Buddy. I tell them about it, tell them where they can get/look at one. Maybe I'll be seeing a few more in Lompton eventually.

Get a Kryptonite chain lock, "squealer" and anything else that would keep the baddies away from your bike. Some of the folks you think are looking and admiring may have ulterior motives.
Next time my Doby will make an outside appearance it will be sitting on my front lawn (the homeowners Association can kiss my *$$, after the recent theft attempt), chained to the tree with kryptonite lock. I am serious. As the economy is getting worse and worse and jobs are disappearing you can expect regular people get desperate and do ugly stuff. Scooters will become hot item as more cars get repossessed and folks in towns with poor public transportation will be looking for cheap ways to get themselves to work.

I have a garage, where all the toys are kept. And usually I'm sitting right outside with a plain view of the scoot when I'm at *$'s. But thanks for the warning...even though my MC is in the garage, it still has two locks on it.
