Voodoo parts deal roundup
Hey Gang, in the course of trolling my usual haunts for Voodoo style hop-up parts I ran across a few deals that I figured I'd pass on:
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GY6-150c ... 4fe8d">NCY Adjustable Racing Clutch for $35</a>
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Adjustab ... ">Nitrogen rear shock for $99</a>
I'll add more as I find them.

It grips better, so you can take off harder by installing lighter springs without wearing down as much. They often dissipate heat better as well. Many of them are also adjustable so you can change the initial grip point easily. I've got one on my bike, though I have a Koso clutch thats basically the same as the NCY one.r0sa wrote:here's a newbie question for ya'll,
what does the racing clutch do or what is it for?

Kaos??? does the NYC clutch have the locking pillow as with the Dr.Pulley HIT clutch? and out of the two which would in your view be the better of the two??? im guessing the Dr. Pulley being its $200 more in price... just trying to learn here...
Scoot'in is more fun than beating up your sister, and it comes with a key!!!

No it doesn't. Thats the biggest difference between the HIT and other clutches. Its also likely why the HIT clutch is so expensive. I've never run the HIT clutch, so I can't comment on it, but from what I know of it, its likely better than the NCY or Koso clutches.Major Redneck wrote:Kaos??? does the NYC clutch have the locking pillow as with the Dr.Pulley HIT clutch? and out of the two which would in your view be the better of the two??? im guessing the Dr. Pulley being its $200 more in price... just trying to learn here...

HIT clutch
I rode a ruckus with a hit clutch and it was crazy! It would snap my body back. took some time to get used to it but it was on a big bore ruckus and acceleration to 35mph it was about the same on a 58cc ruckus as my 125 buddy. Very expensive.

Re: HIT clutch
Yeah, I've wanted to try one for quite a while, but the cost has been the one thing holding me back....AZruckuspride wrote:I rode a ruckus with a hit clutch and it was crazy! On a side note, I'm doing a review on a new head that will be out very soon and will be able to release some info shortly. I installed it this afternoon, but haven't taken it out for a spin yet.
