Spring Fling Accessories

Post by negativepayne »

Hello Everyone, I'm new here. I bought two new buddy 125's One for me, and one for the wife) today and i couldn't be more excited. I am curious if anyone here knows about the spring fling accessory bundles. My dealer initially said i would get it, but when i picked them up he said genuine would be drop shipping them to me. This is fine if its true, but its not what i was told 3 days ago when i worked out the deal.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Looking forward to being around.

I can't help but feel like they are giving me the runaround. I am fine if they show up in the mail, i can install what i want to install myself. I just feel like my dealership is trying to get out of getting them to me. I emailed genuine to ask what the policy is.

I hope to hear something by monday.

Thanks for the response

Hello Negativepayne,

Hang in there Erin.
I'm confident Genuine will take care of you,
they're a pretty straight shootin company.

Nope, I don't work for them,
but I got a neat Stella.

Best of luck with you new scoot.

Cheer.

Congrats on the new scoots and welcome!

I think most of the accessory bundles are shipping from Genuine so it doesn't deplete dealer stock. I think that's the way it worked with the holiday/winter promotion.

Yeah, no worries, Genuine will get you set up, they're a great company and their love for their customers, old and new, is second to none.

woke up to find two packages from the genuine scooter company, excited that they might be my spring fling accessories I brought them inside quick. Inside each was a nice t shirt, a keychain, a notepad, a my other car is a genuine scooter decal, and a thank you card.

It was a very nice gift, but I'm wondering where my chrome is.. its too cold to ride, so I need to mod.

Anyone know how long it usually takes them to get this stuff out for use?

You may want to follow up with your dealer. Really, they're the ones who are the customer service front for Genuine. You're their customer; it's the dealer's responsibility to make sure you get what you were promised.

As far as I know, my friend that participated in the winter deal got the chrome shipped to the dealer, who installed the package for him. I would definitely stay on your dealer about making sure you get your chrome. I hear those Buddy cowl protectors are a biotch to install.
